The Leodian String Quartet consists of experienced professional players living in the West Yorkshire region. Between them the players have played with most of the major symphony orchestras in the United Kingdom, including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Opera North and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.

The quartet have performed for Prince Charles and the Duchess of York as well as playing for a range of stars including Pavarotti, Shirley Bassey and Tom Jones. Television and radio appearances include broadcasts on BBC Radio 3, Classic FM, the Parkinson Show, Richard & Judy, 'Macawber', 'A Touch of Frost' and Emmerdale.  The quartet have also just finished filming for ITV’s new adaptation of ‘Mansfield Park’ staring Billie Piper.
